The Starter Kit is the step up from the Beginner Kit: one RGB Critter BT plus a much deeper toolset, so a single shoot can move between line art, glowing trails, orbs and broad ribbons of color. Save your presets to the light and repeat any effect frame after frame, phone-free.

Everything you need to shoot is in the box: the light engine, battery and charging cable are included. Other RGB Critter twist-on accessories are sold separately.

How the tubes go together

All three tubes are bare, with no threads at either end, so the adapters in this kit are what mount them and what carry anything else you add.

1. Twist the RGB Critter Tube Adapter (Long) onto the front of the RGB Critter BT, push a tube into its socket and lock the two set screws.
2. Clamp the Modular Saber Tube Adapter onto the far end. It adds an AOAM female thread there, so twist-on accessories can go on a plain tube.
3. Twist the included plastic plug into that thread. It carries a reflector that sends light back down the tube, so the whole tube reads brighter.
4. Or use the Modular Saber Tube Connector to join the 23 inch and the 11 inch end to end, and run them as one longer tube instead.
